This game is for The GameDev.tv Game Jam 2023.

Palau is a local Malaysian slang meaning boycott.

This game follows Umar, a smart kid who has recently facing bully at school. It is as if the world has split into 2 different dimensions, and he is thrown into a very lonely world.

Your mission is to help support him dealing with the negative emotes targeting him on his way home.

Controls:

• Tap the ‘Keep Calm’ button repeatedly to support Umar’s emotion and keep him calm.
• Hold the ‘Ignore’ button when negative emotes come targeting Umar to help him ignore them all.

*What you can do if you are a bully victim.

1. Stay calm: Keep your cool when facing bullying.
2. Ignore and disengage: Don't give the bully attention or react to their behavior.
3. Seek support: Talk to trusted friends or family for emotional help.
4. Keep a record: Document incidents of bullying.
5. Stand up for yourself: Assertively defend yourself without aggression.
6. Take care of yourself: Prioritize self-care and well-being.
7. Report the bullying: Inform a trusted authority figure about the bullying.
8. Educate yourself: Learn about bullying to better understand and cope with it.
